Its pretty much make or break time on the QS , theres 2 days left in the waiting period of Haliewa and theres still 2 days worth of event to run . So we running no matter what tomorrow!!!! The swell looks good though so im really excited .

Haliewa is the penultimate event on the QS tour for the year and its one of 2 six star prime events in Hawaii, so every heat is pretty much a career heat!!

Looks like if i make it through 2 heats i should be safe for next year so , wish me luck guys!!!!!

wots up all?

in hawaii at the moment for the triple crown of surfing, stayin with trav ‘t- bangers’ logie and rudy’ the rug’ palmboom and a couple of ozzie boys in turtle bay! i ended well at canada jumpin into the 15 slot on the wqs but had a shocker and dropped to 23, but im still frothing and ampin to get a result in hawaii and should be enough!

waves were really fun the first couple days, about 2 to 6 feet hawaiian so got the rhino chargers out to feel them out before the competition at haliewa! the last couple of days have been flat and been playin alot of tennis, be and t bangers have teamed up against the ozzie boys and have a huge bet on who will take the most sets by the end of the trip!

I have been on the north shore for a couple days now and its been really relaxed actually , weathers been pretty insane but not too many waves around , had a mental sesh at cammys, funnist left bowls and today i surfed pupukea beach park and then a quick one at off the wall .

looks like theres some swell on the way but only next week wednesday so gonna have to grovel until then..

well i have been wanting to come to hawaii since i started liking the barrels more and i am finally here and at the quiksilver house overlooking on the banzai pipeline and backdoor. i arrived at honolulu airport to find a really cool local hawaii charger and pipeline specialist, reef mcintosh! he was stoked to see myself and conrad and answered our million questions about, the waves at pipe, the worst thing that can happen, the heavy locals and who not to mess with, if we would die, and talked us through what to do when going out at massive pipe!

Waves are about 6 ft but the total wrong direction swell and not looking too promising for the next week or so! however me and conrad had our froth on and got the fins in and boardshorts on. most of the waves were closeouts but we did not care. i got two waves before the sun went down and got a solid flogging on the first one!

Any way from what i saw on my first day, hawaii is a really relaxed place when there are no waves, i will let you know how i find it when there are waves! Hopefully the same.

just finshed up in the Canarys , leaving this sunday to trek over to Hawaii to hopefully seal the deal,

looking forward to it , i havent been to the north shore in a couple years !

a month there then its home sweet home for a couple months of much deserved RnR  .

i will keep you posted on the journey

just got my flights for my next trip its a mellow one …… 12hrs to Frankfurt then 10hrs to vancouver ….im there for six days then a 10hr to frankfurt followed by two 2hr flights to canarys through madrid ……im there for six days then two more 2hr flights back to frankfurt then a 10hr to vancouver connecting straight onto a 7hr to honolulu …… im there for a month……
