I surf because ……… because billabong have such cool ad campaigns.

So I am still in Europe and my ankle is still sprained. I never thought an injury could suck this much.

But my chin is up coming into Pantin, it is also a six star wqs event and i could really use the points and the prize money on offer.

Off to bed now, long day of European driving ahead.

Hopefully i can dust off the cobwebs on the ol surfboards and get through some heats. Wooo.

just finished the event lacanau france, been small all week but the last two days waves have picked up and the boys got to enjoy some really good waves,
we’re on i way now to pantin spain, havnt really planned on how we gettin there but its a 12 hour drive, so should get interesting hopefully we make it in time for our heats!

Today I picked up Frank Solomon from the airport. He is going to stay with me for four days and three nights. I am so happy. I am now going to take him to gateway and watch him skateboard. He skates so nice. 360s with out projection. Then I will go into Umhlanga village and have an ale.

The wind is blowing so hard today.

After a week of speaking broken english i am finally reunited with all the South African boys in Lacanau.
Haven’t surfed a wave over head high but have still had a couple fun sessions.
I surfed the Oakley pro junior a few days ago and managed to make it up to round of 16 along with Chad du toit. Right now the wqs is on, and i managed to make my first heat so I am stoked.

Today was cold and windy. Yesterday was cold but not as windy. The wind was from another direction. The day before it was cold and windy. The wind came from the same direction as yesterday. Today i surfed one wave in trunks. I do not know what tomorrow will be like.

ahhh yes haven’t posted in a while but now is my time to spread some of my activities here on the blog
skating is at its funnest in life right now that a friend has emptied out his pool and has become westville’s popular skate spot with lots of stuff happening there and is also a huge party everytime people show!!
just wild skating and friends having a good ol’ sesh in a pool
although durban is very fun and skating is a must over here would still love to revisit jozi skate scene again and hopefully it will happen soon with a little self planned road trip

in the azores with travis and beyrick, waves are flat so life isnt peachy, just sittin around waitin for something to happen, waves are predicted for sunday but its goin to be a bit too late!

Just came from the us open of surfing in huntington beach, california where brett simpson takin the $100 000 and jordy claimin the second slot, atmosphere was incredible, with 40000 people goin mad on the beach, live bands, and the top bmx and skaters in america, it was a week to remember!

off to france next week for the lacanau pro with all the grom’s, should be a fun couple of weeks ahead,
