just finished the event lacanau france, been small all week but the last two days waves have picked up and the boys got to enjoy some really good waves,
we’re on i way now to pantin spain, havnt really planned on how we gettin there but its a 12 hour drive, so should get interesting hopefully we make it in time for our heats!

in the azores with travis and beyrick, waves are flat so life isnt peachy, just sittin around waitin for something to happen, waves are predicted for sunday but its goin to be a bit too late!

Just came from the us open of surfing in huntington beach, california where brett simpson takin the $100 000 and jordy claimin the second slot, atmosphere was incredible, with 40000 people goin mad on the beach, live bands, and the top bmx and skaters in america, it was a week to remember!

off to france next week for the lacanau pro with all the grom’s, should be a fun couple of weeks ahead,

been stayin in huntington beach for the last week just surfing tons with dooma and all the boys at places like salt creek and couple of sessions at trestles to gettin ready for the nike 6.0 comp next week,!
on the tourist side of it, i went to hollywood to check out the scene and try pick up a celab and become uber famous, also went and checked out the world famous art museum MOCA!
so been a good week and frothing for the event to start,meant to be a good south swell next so lets hope the swell forcast is right for once,

after driving a a torturious road from scotland to london heathrow and catchin a gap in the volcano dilemma, i’ve finally got a flight and made it to LA, california!

had a huge problem with renting a car due to the under 25 fee which leaves a massive hole in your pocket! so ive opted for a taxi into hunington beach where ill be stayin with pinky taylor a south african artist!

havnt really checked for any swell but reall hopin to put some time in trestles and just get comfortable surfing it! its goin to be a mission gettin there as it is 40 minutes away so gotta get on the hussle,

Finally made it to scotland, with long flights, long wait overs and even longer drives, all with eyeliner on, not by choice, had a dress up the night before my sisters 21st and couldnt get the stuff off the next day!

well scotland is the exact same as when i left it last year, freezing, beautiful and …..freezing!hahah but the contest is well on its way and ill be surfing in the next round heat 11, hopefully they hold my heat until friday where there is meant to be a solid north swell that is good for thruso east( the main contest site). so holdin thumbs!, im stayin with two ozzies, but all the boys are stayin in the same b and b! so sick to have all the boys, plenty of lol’s all round!

well be back for nearly a week from a pretty good run in oz, got a second in the new castle 4 star and a 9th in the tasmania cold water classic, just fell short in the round of 16 heat against wiggy dantas where the waves when flat! after a long stretch in oz a flew back straight into splashy fen which has taken its toll, but was good to forget about the contest scene for a bit, but back to reality and gettin ready for the coldest place on the planet, Scotland, and then straight to the U.S and final brazil, big trip so hope i got all my ducks in a row, will keep in touch,

On the Gold Coast of Australia at the Quiksilver Pro, the first wct event of the year! the event started yesterday and some good surfing went down! watched jordy’s and trav’s heat, both surfed really good but were unlucky with wave selection ! There is a really sick atmosphere down there, with the beach packed and free Corona’s and good surfing, not much more you can ask for! The comp has been called for today though due to a threat of a Tsunami from Chile, all the beaches have been closed!

In a couple of weeks goin to be goin down the east coast to new castle for my first wqs event for the year, meant to be some really good surf setups on the way and could be a sick trip!

but til then frothing for trav and jord,s to take some names!

this last week has been murder, with this heat and howling on shore winds there has not be much to do except juast hang at home and crank up that ac! been a few fun bowls at north beach but tons of blue bottles!

in a few minutes we are leaving for tofino( deep in mozam) with the quikie team to get some waves and a few photos! its a flupin long drive but lets hope its a smooth one! we get back on the 22 feb and then im off to aus to watch the boys smash the snapper rocks contest and surf  my first three qs events of the year!

today is thanks giving day in hawaii so not much happening with most of the stores being close and sunset being put off even though there are waves to surf!

just been surfing sunset trying out my new boards and trying to feel them out to know which one to pick, looks like i need a 9th or better and sunset is probably one of the trickest waves i have ever surfed an is so easy to get lost out there for hours, but spent the time and sused my line up hopefully works out!

yesterday the peak of the swell hit, pretty much making every on the north shore except for haleiwa and waimea, a few locals paddled out early in the morning but were unable to make it out the the back. we went to go check the waves out at pipe and as we were reversing out of the pipeline parking lot, a lady drove into the back of us, denting the bumper in and smashing out rear light, the one time we dont take insurance we get into an accident , at least we got to meet the ladies banging daughter!

besides that, still playing tons of tennis, gotta win that din din at lei lei’s and of course bragging rights, also been training and tryin to eat healthy, t -bangers has gotten us on sushi and muscle milk diet, i hope it works, for rudy’s sake!

going to make out like a baby and head out to sunset, then goin to have a little cook up with the boys

in hawaii at the moment for the triple crown of surfing, stayin with trav ‘t- bangers’ logie and rudy’ the rug’ palmboom and a couple of ozzie boys in turtle bay! i ended well at canada jumpin into the 15 slot on the wqs but had a shocker and dropped to 23, but im still frothing and ampin to get a result in hawaii and should be enough!

waves were really fun the first couple days, about 2 to 6 feet hawaiian so got the rhino chargers out to feel them out before the competition at haliewa! the last couple of days have been flat and been playin alot of tennis, be and t bangers have teamed up against the ozzie boys and have a huge bet on who will take the most sets by the end of the trip!

goin to be a sick trip!
