This last week i have got some pretty good waves in durban, theres been alot of swell around and plenty of places up and down the coast have been firing! played in a soccer tournement this weekend with patto, our team came out top and won the tournement…first place was a 100 chicken wings at hooters for the team! ya sick prize!!!!

other than that i have just been working with boards and getting fit and ready for brasil next weekend. Going to do some comps there in rio and florinopolis. looking forward to travelling with jacko and berkie! Oh yeah

Woke up early monday morning to go surf the coast with chris leppan, shawn dennis and gav roberts. We left Umhlanga at 4 30 and got to the scotburgh when it was still dark, couldnt really see much but when the sun came up we cold see 4ft waves just shacking and spitting!!! everyone got some sick waves and a couple barrels..

and thanks to shawn dennis who broke my favourite board out there!!!! haha

Last week was fulled with waves everywhere along the coast. Been surfing alot with Chris Leppan and Beyrick De Vries so we decided to go up to this semi secret left slab, there was alot of swell around so it looked like it could be working but when we arrived a group of 6 bodyboarderson the small and inconsistent peak so we drove back to the good old new pier which had amazing banks and good barrels!!!

Looks like theres some swell coming this thursday so hopefully i will be getting barreled somewhere, will keep you up to date with what happens>

i Was just in cape town recently for the the Mr price WP open.Iarrived on friday morning to a very flat longbeach, im pretty sure i didnt see a wave break the entire day! Saturday morning there was a 1/2 ft wave at long beach so they ran the event i made my first trial heat but got knocked in my second one!!! all my years doing comps at longbeach i can never seem to do well there!! although i was out the contest i scored some sick waves at the hoek and dunes with my mate Chris Leppan…and had a good night at caprice with all the boys from the comp!! looks like there are some good waves coming this week in durban so will be shooting down the coast hopefully getting shacked!!!

Just arrived in Cape Town for the Mr Price sa open event, im sitting in the airport waiting for my lift to kommetjie. havent had the best waves this week so looking forward to some cape barrels! The comp starts tomorrow and the swell is looking good so hopefully we get some waves….

Just got back from our quik boardshort shoot in tofo..we had a long drive up but with dan redman in the car it makes it worth while? Never really got to surf the point cause the swell never came through but still scored 1 or 2 nuggets on the backbeach infront of our spot! was a good 7 days all and all with the whole quik crew!

its been a good week have had some pretty fun surfs at home in umhlanga and some cracker days at the new pier. alot of people have been spotting sharks along the coast lately and i had my encounter yesterday morning when i was surfing umhlanga with a mate, i turned around to look out to sea and saw a 2.5 m shark about 30ft away just cruising, i freaked and went into survival mode paddling for the next wave.never been so scared!!!! This weeks lookingpretty small so hoping for some fun bowls and no more sea creatures….

Got back home 2 weeks ago from worlds in oz, good to see all my mates and finally get some waves in umhlanga..???????
managed to somehow get an ear infection so gonna miss the first bit of swell for the year but dont have to worry cause going to tofhino on the 13th of feb for a quik trip to scoresome waves and hopefully not any local chicks…….
